Matrimonial Photography - Best Dressing Tips

Dressing Tips to make your First impression Count !

1. Keep it Simple !

Don't push yourself too much into changing too many sets of clothes in your Matrimonial Photography Session. We recommend 2 or maximum 3 set of clothes for a Matrimonial shoot. For female, A saree/salwar/Casual. For male A formal/casual/traditional.

2. Avoid Patterns !

While dressing, go for solid colors. Avoid checks, stripes or any major prints on the Garment. Saree, being an Indian exception though. A simple solid color will not distract the portrait and all the emphasis will go the person in the Portrait.

3. Smile is the Best Dress !
In matrimonial photography, Expression & Body posture is very essential as it conveys a Body language and resonates with the viewer. Don't push yourself too hard to smile. You will end up with artificial looking smiles. Find a Photographer who knows how to make you feel comfortable and can take natural expressions out of you.

1. Dress-up to your Comfort !

Normally people stress out too much on Maternity photography clothing. Its important that the lady is comfortable in what she wears. you can try out Gowns or Sarees, doesn't matter. You have to be comfortable wearing it. That's important. You can check our Maternity gallery for reference.

2. Props!

Three basic props that can help maternity photography to have depth are Gift ribbons, Head Garland and a Note board. However you can plan for plenty more like what we have in our Maternity Photography section.

3. Lastly, do your shoot in a relaxed way. You need to enjoy the process of making memories. After all, your feelings are also captured in the Photograph. Enjoy the Photo shoot. Take breaks if necessary. Typically you will be shooting in between your 30th and 36th week. So take it easy.

Especially moms love shooting their little ones using phone cameras. A baby's picture is always cute, no matter the quality of the picture. However, we are bringing you Top 5 tips to improve your Children Photography.

1. Keep the background simple !

It is very important to make sure that the Background is clean and not distracting. No pole or Tree seems to be growing out of the head. or no unpleasant things are in the background.     

         

2. Shoot from their Level !

We generally shoot from our level where the camera phone looks down at the baby. Nothing wrong in it. However taking the camera down to their level makes the image more connected.

3. Fill the Frame !

We generally just point the camera and shoot from whatever distance we are. Instead go closer and make sure the baby fills up the screen. Zoom with your feet and not your software zoom.

4. Place them off center !

Most of the times we shoot keeping our babies exactly in the center of the photo. Try putting them off center sometimes and see the difference.

5. Edit the Pictures !

Every image needs to be edited at least for contrast, brightness etc. Its very easy to edit images now a days in Mobile phone itself. These are the 2 Apps that are best recommended for both ios and android phones.
